After the Pixel 7 series, Google is working on the Pixel 8 series. It is believed that this smartphone can be given 12 GB RAM with Tensor G3 chipset. Google can launch two phones with Pixel 8 series. Google is expected to launch two phones under the Pixel 8 series, which could be the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro smartphones. Contrary to rumours, the Pixel 8 series is not expected to feature a foldable design. Google Pixel 8 is also being worked on Pixel 7a, it is going to be a smaller model of Pixel 7 series

Expected Features and Specifications

Google Pixel 8 may have an upgraded Tensor G3 chipset. The device could be offered with up to 12GB of RAM configuration. Tearing down a report by Android Police, it is surfacing that the Pro model is likely to feature a display resolution of 2822 x 1344 pixels, while the Pixel 8 could feature the standard 2268 x 1080 resolution. Google is expected to introduce these devices during Google I/0 2023.

Google Pixel 7, which is the company’s latest premium offering, features a 6.32-inch display that offers a resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels. The display also supports 90hz refresh rate and 1400 nits brightness. Pixel 7 runs on Tensor G2 which comes with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The device is fueled by a 4,355mAh Li-ion battery that supports wireless charging.

The standard model sports a dual rear camera setup and is identical to the Pro model except that you do not get a telephoto sensor on it. However, Google has reduced the field of view of the standard model from 114 degrees to 106 degrees. Apart from this, both the phones have a 10.8-megapixel selfie camera on the front.

While the Pixel 7 Pro packs a 5,000mAh battery, the Pixel 7 packs a much smaller 4,355mAh battery, which is a downgrade from the Pixel 6’s 4,600mAh battery. The company has also given support for wireless charging.
